Dimitra Kokkinou is an IT professional and researcher with more than 20 years of experience in Information Technology and Public Administration, combining a strong technical background in information systems, network infrastructures, and communications with academic and applied research. She holds an MSc in Modern Communication Systems and Internet of Things from the University of Thessaly, with research work focused on the design of integrated flood disaster management systems. Her professional experience includes the design, supervision, and support of digital and network infrastructures, information security (ISO/IEC 27001), geospatial analysis (GIS/UAVs), and the operation of mission-critical information systems. Her research interests focus on data interoperability, Decision Support Systems (DSS), and the integration of communication infrastructures with operationally resilient digital systems for risk management applications.
